This custom-built Allen, Texas home was completed in 2010, but as the family's needs evolved, they quickly outgrew the original floor plan. With active teenagers and a busy lifestyle, a comprehensive renovation was undertaken to enhance both functionality and aesthetics throughout the home.

At the heart of the transformation was the kitchen. The existing layout consumed valuable square footage from adjacent spaces while providing limited functionality. By reimagining the floor plan and thoughtfully reallocating space, we created a spacious open-concept kitchen centered around a large island and a generous casual dining area. The redesign also made room for a new pantry/back kitchen, a purposeful mudroom and drop zone, and a highly functional laundry room designed to simplify daily life and better support the family's routines.

The primary suite received the same thoughtful attention. The bathroom was completely reconfigured to maximize space, improve functionality, and deliver a fresh, elevated aesthetic. In the bedroom, beautiful new furnishings were paired with a custom wall-to-wall storage cabinet designed to meet the homeowners' extensive storage needs. A concealed fold-down sewing table adds versatility while maintaining a clean, uncluttered appearance.

The study was transformed into a multifunctional retreat where the homeowner can work, relax, read, or watch television. A custom-built wall cabinet discreetly stores golf equipment—an important personal request incorporated seamlessly into the design.
