One of my favorite projects is the makeover of this 1970's kitchen in Plano which was dated and closed in.   The kitchen needed to be renovated quickly as the family had a new baby coming and wanted their ideal kitchen fast.
Soothing, warm grays and whites were used to give an airy, fresh transitional feel to the kitchen. It satisfies the homeowners' desire for a transitional look and their love of the color "gray". The family was given more space by relocating the refrigerator and clearing away unnecessary cabinetry. We maximized their storage space by raising the upper cabinet height to the ceiling and using every square inch possible in the lower cabinet cavities.
The vertical orientation of the tile elongates the walls and gives height to the 8' ceilings. The iridescence in the abalone shell material subtly brings in color to preserve a soft, peaceful feel.  The cabinet reconfiguration, white marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, recessed and under-cabinet lighting and clear pendants all culminate into a more spacious look and feel.

The final product was a “happy” gray kitchen that felt “peaceful” and was 100% more functional.

I loved working with Nicole! She is talented, prompt, organized, and just a joy to work with. She helped with the renovation of my master bathroom and bedroom.
